Inside Will and Kate's Royal Wedding Reception

There's nothing quite like a 16-hour royal wedding! Prince William and Kate Middleton's big day started with an 11am ceremony, and apparently the festivities didn't wrap up at the reception at Buckingham Palace until after 3am.

We hear most of the 300 guests who merited an invite to the swanky reception stayed until the wee hours of the morning. There was lots of dancing and fine dining to keep the guests occupied, though father of the groom, Prince Charles, reportedly ducked out shortly after midnight.

Inside Will and Kate's Royal Wedding Reception
Prince William, Duke of Cambridge and Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge drive from Buckingham Palace in a decorated vintage Aston Martin sports car on April 29, 2011 in London, England. The marriage of the second in line to the British throne was led by the Archbishop of Canterbury and was attended by 1900 guests, including foreign Royal family members and heads of state. Thousands of well-wishers from around the world have also flocked to London to witness the spectacle and pageantry of the Royal Wedding

The reception consisted of crab and lamb courses, and there was even a brief fireworks display, reports People.com. One of the highlights was Prince Harry's best man speech, which was reportedly very touching and funny. He even mentioned Princess Diana, their late mother who died when Will was just 15.

On top of delivering a great speech, Harry also seemed very cozy with his on-again, off-again girlfriend Chelsy Davy. The Internet was full of buzz about Harry flirting with Pippa Middleton, Kate's younger sister, but we're guessing that was just wishful thinking.

As the night wore on, snacks came out. Apparently Harry arranged for some breakfast items -- like "bacon butties" -- to be served in the wee hours of the morning and guests loved noshing on the greasy snacks before turning in for the night.

There's no official word on when Will and Kate hit the hay, but they were up bright and early the next morning for a stroll across the palace lawn before they were whisked off for a romantic weekend getaway.

Miley Cyrus '"Party in the United States' death of bin Laden's reference commentary

Miley Cyrus' hit single "Party in the USA" became an unlikely anthem for the moment Sunday night as news spread that U.S. forces had tracked down and killed Osama bin Laden. As a result, the YouTube page for the song has been flooded with comments referencing bin Laden's death.

The two top comments as of this writing are "song for osama's funreal..." and "miley Rocks!! every week ' PARTY IN THE USA' because bin laden has killed." The video has received a flood of traffic over the past 24 hours with some comments that are funny ("MIley killed Osama!") and others that are informative ("LIKE THIS COMMENT IF WATCHING THIS VIDEO IS LITERALLY THE FIRST THING YOU DID AFTER YOU LEARNED OSAMA WAS DEAD.")

Singer Miley Cyrus arrives at the 2011 Pre-GRAMMY Gala and Salute To Industry Icons Honoring David Geffen at Beverly Hilton on February 12, 2011 in Beverly Hills, California.

Meanwhile the song has become the subject of a Facebook fan page called "Osama bin Laden's funeral song - Party in the USA." It currently has just over 5,000 fans. Several media outlets have further reported that people out in the streets have played the song in celebration.

Miley herself has yet to comment on the phenomenon, and it's hard to tell how she would react to having her light-hearted summer jam tied to the death of America's most-hated enemy. We can only hope the topic comes up on her Twitter.

Kate Middleton and Prince William Private Island Last Weekend

Contrary to talks that Kate and William were headed to a private island last weekend, the new Duke and Duchess of Cambridge actually escaped for some -- gasp -- privacy in England after their whirlwind wedding.

"William and Kate spent their honeymoon weekend at home in Anglesey," a royal insider said. "There were rumors that they were in various parts of Europe, but they actually just went home and stayed indoors the whole time. It was a cozy weekend."

It's unfathomable how tired the last few weeks must have left them, so the fact that they needed a private R&R makes the royal pair seem like real people! Who knew. But they'll surely still have a luxurious, envy inspiring honeymoon in the works.

Though Clarence House hasn't provided a canned statement about their vacation spot yet, insiders are speculating Mustique, Jordan, Australia, or Kenya.

Flower power: According to fragrance bloggers, Catherine was wearing the White Gardenia Petals fragrance by Illuminum on her wedding day

When the new Duchess of Cambridge walked down the aisle on April 29, the best-kept secret in fashion was finally revealed.

But while the world cooed over her Alexander McQueen gown, the perfume industry's noses were buzzing about what scent Catherine chose for her big day.

According to fragrance bloggers, Prince William's bride was wearing White Gardenia Petals by Illuminum, a little-known British brand.

Delicate: The scent has notes of coconut, jasmine and amber wood

A description on the company website describes the £70 scent as 'fragrant as a vase of white flowers quivering in the breeze by an open window, this is a delicate and nuanced scent.'

It continues: 'The top note of coconut evokes a seaside location, while heart notes of muguet, ylang ylang and jasmine breeze bring a trio of white flowers into play.

'Amber wood underscores this capricious and light bouquet.'

They were a huge hit with Mr Boadi's former clients - Michelle Obama purchased three scents in 2009 - and the Illuminum brand followed shortly after.

The company is unsurprisingly thrilled by word that Catherine wore their product.
Illuminum spokesman Michael Donovan told BaseNotes.com: 'I am so proud!'

Reese and R-Patz put on a loving show

Friends again? It looked like the co-stars had made up after their embarrassing fall-out over the filming of their love scenes at the premiere tonight - but she didn'

They play lovers on screen but have been increasingly awkward promoting their film together - but Robert Pattinson and Reese Witherspoon put on a crowd-pleasing display of emotional acrobatics at the London premiere of Water For Elephants tonight.

Last night, they were launching the circus-based film in Barcelona, with both looking like they'd rather walk the trapeze unaided than go up the red carpet together.

But tonight at the capital's Westfield shopping centre, they pulled out all the stops to look affectionate with each other.

All smiles: Reese Witherspoon and Robert Pattinson on the red carpet for the UK premiere of their new movie Water for Elephants at London's Westfield centre tonight

Reese, 35, made a big show of laughing and joking with her co-star in an off-the-shoulder tight blue dress and nude Louboutin peep toes.

Twilight star R-Patz, 24, meanwhile was suitably vampiric in a black suit, black shirt and tie and shiny black shoes

As well as clowning around for the cameras, they even gazed in each other's eyes at one point - a far cry from the Paris premiere at the weekend when the pair could barely raise a smile.

What a performance: Reese was more than happy to lark and around and pose for the fans on the red carpet

Still, it was the least they could do considering that some fans had queued almost two days to be in the front row for the first night of the film in the UK.

Held at the Vue cinemas in west London's Westfield shopping centre, the movie's circus theme had been borne out with mocked up sawdust rings and T4's Rick Edwards bizarrely acting as ringmaster.

The film is a love story between Reese's and Robert’s characters, in which Robert's veterinary student abandons his studies after his parents are killed and joins a traveling circus as their vet.

Batman: Arkham Asylum - PS3 Games

Batman: Arkham Asylum - PS3 Games

Batman: Arkham Asylum is a single player, third-person action/adventure in which the Dark Knight is forced to take on his greatest challenge yet when he is trapped by arch rival, the Joker, within Gotham City's facility for the criminally insane, Arkham Asylum. A blend of exciting arcade style combat and stealth mechanics packed with amazing graphics in a moody, immersive setting, Batman: Arkham Asylum offers diverse gameplay options that push the envelope for all action, adventure and superhero games.

Story
Batman: Arkham Asylum features an original story penned exclusively for the game by famous Batman author and five-time Emmy award winner, Paul Dini, whose credits include "Lost" season one and "Batman: The Animated Series." As the game begins Batman is personally delivering his nemesis, The Joker, to the asylum at Arkham Island, but he is uneasy. Although the Arkham asylum is well fortified, he has a nagging feeling that all is not well, which proves to be the case when seconds after turning The Joker over to the guards, the master criminal breaks free of his captors. Even more surprising than this quick turn of events is the revelation that it was never The Joker's intent to escape the vault-like facility, but instead to trap Batman there. Surrounded by an asylum full of dangerous criminals, many of which he put there and all at the beck and call of the Joker, can Batman survive and discover what is behind the Joker's intricate plot?

Gameplay
In Batman: Arkham Asylum players strap on the gadget-heavy utility belt of the Caped Crusader. Gameplay here is a combination of both the knuckle crunching rush of hand to hand combat as you take on the hordes of thugs that infest Arkham Asylum, and stealth gameplay in which you must dispatch individuals from the shadows. Players can expect an engrossing single player campaign in which Batman continually moves forward to face the henchmen, bosses and traps that The Joker has set for him. With regards to opponents, in addition to The Joker who you will hear more than you see, the dark walls of Arkham also hold familiar villains from the the Batman criminal universe including Harley Quinn, Victor Zsasz and Killer Croc, that you will have to deal with, but don't expect a one-dimensional experience. As players progress from environment to environment within Arkham they will have to use varying combinations of muscle, detective skills, gadgetry and a certain degree of light RPG-like leveling of Batman's skills, arsenal and physical characteristics to survive and discover what The Joker's underlying scheme is.

In addition to the story-driven single player campaign Arkham Asylum also contains various additional play modes. These include an arcade styled combat mode where players accumulate points by engaging hordes of thugs in a hand to hand slugfest across a series of maps, in which Batman's physical strength and agility play a major role. The key here is to chain together as many attacks as possible due to the fact that with each successful combo players increase the point multiplier associated with their actions. The game also features a time-based stealth mode where players must hone their ability to strike silently from the shadows. This gameplay, referred to as 'Invisible Predator' utilizes the Dark Knight's skill with gadgets like the grapple tool, batarang and explosives. These allow for vertical/horizontal mobility, the ability to quickly strike from above and at a distance and to take out enemies and create distractions, even through walls. But remember that Batman works solo and is not superhuman. Your enemies will congregate around trouble areas and work as a team against you, so you must be silent, plan your attacks wisely, strike quickly and discover the value of encouraging fear within enemies.
